1. Educational only
PayslipIQ provides general educational information and estimate-based tools. PayslipIQ is not a CPA, tax preparer, attorney, payroll provider, HR adviser, employer, financial adviser, or government agency. PayslipIQ is independent and not affiliated with the IRS, SSA, U.S. Department of Labor, any state tax or labor agency, any employer, or any payroll provider. Nothing on this site constitutes tax, legal, payroll, accounting, HR, employment, or financial advice.
2. No professional relationship
Use of the site does not create an accountant–client, attorney–client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship. For decisions that affect your taxes, employment, or finances, consult a qualified professional licensed in your state.
3. Accuracy
PayslipIQ uses published IRS, SSA, DOL, and state agency rules as of the "last verified" date shown on each page. Rules change. Calculator outputs are estimates and depend on inputs. PayslipIQ does not warrant accuracy and you are responsible for verifying any number with payroll, the relevant agency, or a qualified professional.
4. Permitted use
You may use the site for lawful, personal, educational purposes. You may not (a) reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or republish substantial portions of our content without permission, (b) use the site to develop a competing product, (c) attempt to circumvent security, (d) misrepresent PayslipIQ as a tax, legal, or government service.
5. User submissions
If you submit information (email, tool inputs, future uploads), you confirm you are authorised to provide it and you grant PayslipIQ a limited licence to process it for the purpose for which you provided it. See the privacy notice.
6. Third-party links and partners
The site links to third-party agencies and may include clearly labelled partner offers. PayslipIQ does not control third-party sites and is not responsible for their content. PayslipIQ may earn a referral fee on certain partner sign-ups. Partner relationships are documented in the methodology page.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. PayslipIQ disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayslipIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the site, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount you paid PayslipIQ in the prior twelve months, or US$50, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold PayslipIQ harmless from any claims arising from your use of the site or any content you submit.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and PayslipIQ submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
